Description
The framing of the garage doors finishes at either 45mm x 95mm or 70mm x 95mm and is made from joinery-grade, sustainably sourced FSC Scandinavian redwood pine softwood. All doors are constructed using waterproof wood glue and are framed, ledged, and braced where necessary, with bracing finishing at 1” x 4” or 2” x 4” depending on the chosen frame size. The frame joints utilise traditional mortise and tenon construction, which are glued and dowelled for added strength and durability. Each door is clad with heavy-duty, custom-made 15mm x 125mm tongue and groove match boarding for enhanced robustness. A superior weather protection system is available in a range of colours, with optional personalisation offered through custom CNC lettering and numbers. Custom sizes are also available upon request.
Treatment Options
For all customers purchasing softwood gates & Garage doors from us, we offer an optional protective wood treatment that is applied by our team. This treatment is available in a wide range of colours and stains. If you would like to add this protective finish to your order, please CLICK HERE to include it. If no treatment is selected, it will be assumed that you will be supplying and applying your own treatment elsewhere. Please select the correct gate type when adding on a protective treatment.
