2. How long is your lead time?
Our typical lead time is 2–4 weeks from confirmation of order, depending on the materials, design complexity, and service requirements.
3. Do you supply hardware with your gates?
Yes, we supply all the necessary hardware at an additional cost. This includes:

Posts
Latches
Keyholes / lock fittings
We only use quality hardware suited to the gate's material and purpose.
4. Do you offer installation services?
Absolutely. We install all our gates ourselves to ensure a proper fit and finish. Installation can include posts, groundworks, and full hardware fitting.
5. Do you deliver the gates yourselves?
Yes, we personally deliver all gates to ensure safe transportation and to handle any access or site-specific considerations directly.
Return Policy
Thank you for choosing Barnes & Co for your bespoke gates and hardware. We take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Please read our return policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Custom and Made-to-Order Items
All our gates and metal fabrications are custom-made to your specifications. Because of this bespoke nature, custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged, unless the item is faulty or damaged upon delivery.
2. Damaged or Faulty Items
If your order arrives damaged or with a manufacturing fault, please notify us within 7 days of receipt by contacting us at barnesgatefitting@gmail.com or calling 07909 442629. We will arrange for a repair, replacement, or refund after assessing the issue.
Please keep all packaging and provide photos of the damage or fault to help with the claim.
3. Returns on Non-Custom Items
We accept returns only for defective or damaged products. If you have purchased any standard stock items or hardware separately (such as hinges, latches, keyholes), please contact us to discuss the issue. Returns for non-defective items are not accepted.
4. Exchanges
We do not accept exchanges.
5. How to Return an Item

6. Refunds
Refunds for approved returns will be processed within 14 business days after we receive the returned items in original condition.
Refunds will be made via the original payment method. Shipping and installation costs are non-refundable.

If you have booked installation services with us, please note that cancellations or changes must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment to avoid charges.
