Description
The gates are constructed from joinery-grade, sustainably sourced Sapele or Iroko hardwood, with a frame size of 55mm × 95mm. They are assembled using waterproof wood glue and traditional mortise and tenon joints, which are glued and dowelled for enhanced strength and durability. Each gate is framed, ledged, and braced where necessary, with 36mm bracing, and clad in heavy-duty 18mm × 140mm tongue-and-groove match boarding for added robustness. A superior weather protection system is available in multiple colours, with optional custom CNC lettering and numbers for personalisation, and bespoke sizes can be produced on request.
Treatment Options
Osmo oil is our standard treatment option for hardwood gates. It helps protect against UV damage and rot. This treatment is not included in the base price and is available as an optional add-on. If you choose to purchase the treatment from us, we will professionally apply it to your gates before delivery, saving you the time and effort.
